This selfie stick makes users look like they have extra long arms

Despite many public places banning them—and plenty of people critiquing them—selfie sticks continue to make appearances in tourist attractions and buzz-worthy locations. No longer the sole tool of the excitable tourist, the selfie stick has become this era's fanny pack: an item that serves a distinct purpose but might look silly a few decades from now.

A tongue-in-cheek design embraces that sense of whimsy instead of fighting it. Known only as “Mansun,” this intrepid designer came up with the idea of a selfie stick that actually looks like a super long arm. He explains that he felt embarrassed when holding the typical selfie stick. Obviously, an extremely elongated arm would be more interesting for passersby to see than your average stick.
