This device lets you leave your wallet and phone behind when you're out making purchases

A smartstrap for Pebble smartwatches aims to let consumers make faster, more efficient payments while on the go. The Pagaré strap employs contactless technology that allows a user to simply hold her wrist near a card reader to make a payment in a few seconds, eliminating the need for credit cards, debit cards or mobile phones.

According to Fit Pay, the company behind Pagaré, the smartstrap's “multiple layers of security” protect your sensitive data while allowing you to pay using your existing credit or debit cards. The device uses a card network service that replaces users' credit card numbers with values called “tokens” so that it doesn't have to store credit card information. The strap also uses a personal PIN that prevents anyone other than the authorized user of the watch from making payments with it.
