With the Oculus Quill, the creative house hopes to spark inspiration in storytelling

Through products like the Oculus Rift, Oculus continues to push the envelope when it comes to virtual reality experiences. Now, the company hopes that a new tool will inspire even more creative minds to put virtual reality to new uses. Used with Oculus Touch, the Oculus Quill lets creators bring scenes to life in virtual reality.

Oculus Studio previously merged storytelling with VR in projects like Henry, a VR film that follows an adorable hedgehog and his birthday adventures. In a video about the project, Story Studio Creative Director Saschka Unseld explains the appeal behind using Oculus technology to enhance a story and create a new connection between the viewer and the characters on screen.
