The activity tracker will get a nod from this edgy New York fashion label

From focusing on the wrists of the health nut, Fitbit is now positioning their wearables for function and fashion. For NYFW Fall 2016, the company pairs up with New York’s urban and edgy designers from Public School to tap into a different market.

On February 14, Public School’s Womenswear Autumn/Winter 2016 will be revealed alongside reimagined versions of Fitbit’s latest offering, the Fitbit Alta.

Alta is a health tracker in a sleeker shape with a minimalist strip of tap panel display. It can automatically detect any fitness activity and sleep, so you don't have to tinker with it except to know the time and read recent phone notifications.
