An installation in Times Square that dances between intimacy and performance

While there are many romantic places to kiss in New York City — here's looking at you Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park, and the streets of the West Village — Times Square doesn't make the cut. Times Square is one of the last places many would choose to have a smooch with the overbearing neon lights, the crowds, giant Elmo's leering unblinking eyes, a naked cowboy a little too close for comfort.

The Times Square Alliance is hoping to change that though this Valentines Day with an installation called Heart of Hearts produced by NYC architecture studio Collective-LOK.
