A machine converts random tweets from across the globe into delectable drinks

“If you’re wondering whether a tweet about Santa Claus in Winnipeg in Canada can take part in generating a cocktail in Nantes, we say yes!” reads Data Cocktail’s website.

Invented by Clément Gault and Koi Koi Design in Soif de Parti, a workshop organized by Stereolux at the Laboratoire Arts et Technologie, the machine brews a mean alcoholic beverage by searching for the five latest tweets worldwide that include an available ingredient, mixing them together to produce an unplanned concoction.
