The American singer and guitar artisans worked to create an axe easier on the spine

Guitars have changed in countless ways over the years, but the shape of the body has more or less stayed the same. This proves to be an issue for some musicians, as it hinders their playing with its weight or long neck. Singer St. Vincent in collaboration with Ernie Ball Music Man, have designed a new instrument that is easier on the back.

The STV guitar is the brainchild of St. Vincent, also known as Annie Clark, and the guitar design masters at Ernie Ball Music Man in San Luis Obispo, California. The guitar includes an African mahogany body, rosewood neck and fingerboard, St. Vincent inlays, and 5-way pick up selector with custom configuration. It comes in either black or St. Vincent Blue, a color mixed by the artist herself to add a personal colorful touch.
