A San Francisco bar transformed into a mix of nostalgia and adult fun

Bars are most typically darkly lit places where people huddle on mass to imbibe, meet with friends, and complain about work, love lives, or general annoyances. There are some, however, that try to create a fun and light atmosphere—even if it means installing a ball pit. Forward Motion, a San Francisco based non-profit, changed a local bar into the first-ever pop-up ball pit bar.

From March 19th to the 20th, the Romper Room was transformed into a ball pit, complete with live DJ, 90s music, and bubbles, all to create that nostalgic feeling. The event sold out three months in advance, with tickets allotting participants a two hour time slot to enjoy drinks and play with in the pit.
