Find Batman and Superman at the bottoms of a box of Cocoa Puffs

In advance of the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice release in cinemas later this month, General Mills has teamed up with DC Comics to bring comic books inspired by the film to its cereal boxes.

Four exclusive comics will be included inside specially-marked boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios, Lucky Charms, Cocoa Puffs, Trix and Golden Grahams.

The four issues include: ‘Playground Heroes' by Jeff Parker, ‘Field Trip' by Christos Gage, ‘Picture Proof' by Marguerite Bennett, and ‘Lights Out' by Joshua Williamson. They feature the Caped Crusader and the Man of Steel teaming up in various ways, with suspenseful stories created by DC Comics writers and artists. Veteran artists Gary Frank and Rod Reis have drawn the comic book covers. The inside panels have been lettered by Deron Bennett and illustrated by Marcus To, Federico Dallocchio, Eduardo Pansica, RB Silva, Art Thibert, José Marzan Jr., Irma Kniivila, Jim Charalampidis, Jeromy Cox and Andrew Dalhouse.
