Cannabis and supply chain tech, they're not so different

Switching career paths is rarely easy. But as Mike Bologna moved from one of the most mainstream gigs possible to become a business founder and cannabis consultant, he learned that two disparate industries have more in common than they first appear.

My time as a consultant with a leading Microsoft partner taught me one universal law: Every single company and every single industry is unique. To hear mainstream consulting tell it, that’s a bad thing and one of the many reasons that our business software implementation would never work. To hear me tell it, that’s a great thing and should be embraced. Each difference offers consultants constant challenges and diverse experiences to draw from during the next project or when facing the next major client obstacle with Microsoft partners. In addition, this is likely the reason the company is a success.
