For many people, lines of code are foreign and intimidating, the kind of monster that lurks under your bed and waits for you to fall asleep. When developers say, “learning to code is really just like learning another language,” they say, “yeah, Sanskrit.” In the spirit of demystifying the digital hieroglyphics, PayPal subsidiary Braintree has recently launched Codeology, a program that pulls code uploaded to open-source code repository service GitHub and renders the code as colorful Pokémon-like figures.
