Retail and technology are one of our favorite topics at PSFK. Of late, the physical environments in which we shop is a topic we can’t get enough of—let’s face it, technology and the consumer demand for NOW has retailers scrambling to design sophisticated stores. Historically, store design and retail concepts were created by architects. No longer: designers, architects and technologists are now working together to build stores of the future with the help of a new type of design company, The Science Project.
