Bentley introduced the idea that self-driving cars could get their own luxury-package fast lane

Luxury car brand Bentley recently unveiled a preview of its self-driving car. The vehicle takes on the idea in full-fledge luxury, showing two large sofas flanking a center surface set up with roses and a bottle of champagne. In the image, a hologram of a butler floats nearby as if waiting to meet the needs of the passengers.

This positions the self-driving car as a luxury experience, a way to totally sit back and relax while the car does the work. Bentley's head of design Stefan Sielaff also talked to dezeen recently about the idea of creating luxury packages to accompany the car. For starters, he mentioned a service that might help passengers get to their destinations faster:
