A mysterious promo offers a hint of what a brand might do to reposition the audio experience

In the quest to seek the ultimate sound experience with the most advanced technologies, companies continue to re-envision headphones. The latest project in this race is N, a concept prototype from Sony’s Future Lab program.

The lab recently released a short teaser video that briefly shows the device. At the beginning of the video, a woman floats underwater. Eventually, a pair of in-ear headphones loosen from her ears and fall behind her. In the next frame she stands on firm ground and the sound of the radio chimes in. She wears a white device around her neck with the Sony logo on the back of it.
