An automated assistant for organizing meetings without wasting paper

Booking a time slot for a meeting room can prove stressful during busy days at work. Not to mention the fact that using physical signs on meeting rooms can be wasteful and time-consuming.

Joan Meeting Room Assistant wants to make this process much smoother—and eco-friendly—thanks to an electronic paper display. According to the company’s website, Joan is also 99 percent more efficient than other booking systems. It also automatically sends an email when it is low on battery; users normally need to charge it about once every three months.
