Conversation with Tribeca Film Festival programmers about curating and showcasing immersive projects

Apart from showing traditional movies, TFF is known for introducing the public to most innovative experiences that lie on the intersection of storytelling and new technologies. This year, festival-goers will have a change to experience immersive projects in as many as three different spaces: Storyscapes, Virtual Arcade and TFI Interactive. We sat down with Tribeca’s programmers to discuss their curatorial strategies and the current state of interactive storytelling.

For the first time this year, TFF is launching Virtual Arcade, presented by AT&T, in addition to the Storyscapes, why did you decide to launch a whole new space dedicated solely to VR?
