A new series featuring talented chefs merged virtual reality with expert cooking

In the latest food-meets-technology development, Samsung has created a series called 360° Meals at Samsung to see what happens when food and virtual reality come together.

Daniel Boulud, owner of several restaurants including Michelin-starred Daniel, recently let attendees in NYC catch a behind-the-scenes look at his process. Audience members watched a short video while wearing Samsung Gear VR headsets. The video showed the process from prep in the kitchen to completed dishes on the table. In this way, each viewer could feel as if they were right there in the kitchen watching each ingredient being carefully prepared.
