This meeting room expands seating capacity by storing seats in plain sight

Modeling and Big Data startup Ekimetrics has unveiled a redesign of its Paris office with a very interesting solution for extra meeting room seats. Instead of tucking away chairs in a backroom, architects at Vincent & Gloria Architects built a wall that displays them.

On the wood finish wall, each stool has its own little hole. The hourglass-shaped stool come in different colors and gives the room an sort of sculptural wall mural. Bright green outlines on the slots adds an extra pop to this room detail. The wall makes it easier for bigger groups to have meetings and it keeps the area tidy and spacious by never allowing extra seats to just scatter all over the place.
