There's finally a marketplace for buying and selling virtual reality experiences

Though the advent of stock photos/footage has enabled content creators to easily fit pieces of high quality materials into their work, the price of royalty-free items has kept these clips outside the reach of lower-budget consumers.

VideoBlocks is a subscription-based stock photo/video company that attempts to democratize the industry, with annual, unlimited access subscription plans that cost as much as a few comps from some of it’s competitors. But beyond its affordability, the company is beginning to establish itself as a future-forward entity. Setting its sights on virtual reality stock videos, the business is gearing up to start licensing 360-degree content, an otherwise uncharted territory within stock content.
