Virtually indestructible luggage filled with techie features

Raden, a newly launched smart luggage doesn’t only make your traveling experience more convenient, it also makes for an excellent travel buddy.

CEO and founder of Raden, Josh Udashkin knew he wanted a change in how the traditional travel luggage is designed. The term ‘raden’ means highly-designed lacquered object in Japanese. He told Quartz:

“I couldn’t figure out why every piece of luggage was awful—clam shell, cyborg, robot, Terminator-shaped—the colors were hideous, the details were terrible. It looked like parts from the luggage catalogue shoved together.”
