VSCO goes beyond filters with digital galleries exploring topics like science and history

The Internet is all about content. With this in mind, the art and technology company VSCO introduced VSCO Originals, a set of digital periodicals featuring a variety of editorial content.

The series is divided into eight “journals,” each one consisting of beautiful imagery and text to walk visitors through the content. With the feeling of a virtual museum, the galleries explore various topics, such as science and history on Cyclopedia; art and design on Manifatura; and human diversity on All Kinds of Human. Other topics include music, photography, illustration and writing, all curated with the specific aesthetic voice the app is known for. Contributors include writers, photographers, and editors, as well as members of VSCO’s community.
