UK's Women's Equality Party launched campaign to visualize scale of sexual harassment

Women in London are trying to reclaim the streets where they were sexually assaulted, harassed or abused by taking over social media. Launched by the Women's Equality Party, #WEcount campaign aims at raising awareness about the number of unreported incidents and the importance of putting women's security at the center of the mayoral race.

The campaign encourages women to write the postcode or the location of the assault, abuse or harassment on the palm of their hand and post it on Twitter, using the hashtag “#WEcount.” Alternatively, photos can also be submitted anonymously through Wecount@womensequality.emailnb.com.
