This startup is promoting non-press dress shirts, without cancer causing chemicals

A select group of shoppers have found solace in the non-wrinkle dress shirt trend. But most consumers don’t know that these shirts are actually dangerous to their health. Doused in formaldehyde, a chemical used in building materials (and even some nail polish) which is associated with certain types of cancer, many retailers are beginning to steer clear of non-iron clothing entirely to avoid the harmful substance altogether. Menswear startup Twillory posited that there must be a way to achieve a non-iron look without the feared additive, which is why the company has engineered and officially launched its health-conscious yet wrinkle-free dress shirt collection.
