This app wants to recreate the no-editing, typewriter experience to improve creative flow

Rough Draft is a writing app that wants you to just focus on the writing, not the editing. Instead of being able to delete words as you go, Rough Draft shows a strikethrough of the words instead, a constant reminder to focus on the writing rather than revising.

Similar to Flowstate, Rough Draft is meant to inspire a state of creative ‘flow' in writers, a state of deep concentration and focus. Editing forces the writer to slow down, reconsider words and sentences, interrupting the creative state. Rough Draft wants to help writers enter that uncensored, free-association state. The app has a simple, typewriter-esque interface, with a writing and a revising mode.
