The drone space is rapidly expanding as new models, flight techniques and use cases push the limits of this exciting new plot. Amazon wants to shed some hours off of its current delivery times through the use of carrier drones, and Zuckerberg plans on connecting the world to the internet via UAV’s that can stay airborne for months at a time. Labs are researching how the emerging tech can seamlessly integrate into everyday life, from hovering security cameras to floating advertisements and mobile traffic signs. And while these experiments have been yielding promising results, the many enterprises involved in the industry have kept their focus primarily on the American and Chinese markets where the infrastructure and general profitability are best suited for such advancements.
