Scandy spheres allow you to hold and view your pictures from all angles

As society moves deeper and deeper into a primarily online existence, a New Orleans-based 3D printing startup called Scandy is making an effort to take photographs out of the Cloud and put them back into customer’s hands.

The company can also turn 3D photos into objects, such as human busts or pieces of furniture, but the Scandy Sphere seems to be a more consumer friendly option. Scandy Spheres run from $20 for a 2-inch diameter ball, up to $55 for a 4-inch diameter ball.

With the Scandy app, users can take a 3D picture with their iPhone, then order a Scandy Sphere all with a few taps.
