Jonas Lund lets technology take the creative reigns in these eye-catching pieces

Seen from afar, the pieces in Jonas Lund's ‘New Now' series almost look like the strange movement inside of a lava lamp. The color seems frozen in time, like colors caught in motion.

The pieces are UV prints created on plexiglass with LED strips and surrounded by metal frames. ‘New Now' showcases the process that Lund created in which he takes images of previous work and uses them “to train the neural network that produces the new pieces,” as he told PSFK via email.
