Conde Nast employees can now get a discounted subscription to rent designer clothes

Employees of magazine publisher Conde Nast can now receive a discounted subscription to Rent the Runway, an online designer clothing rental service, as part of their employee benefits.

For six months, Conde Nast employees can subscribe to Rent the Runway’s Unlimited service for $90 per month (the service normally costs $139 per month). The unlimited service, launched in March, allows users to take out three rentals at a time and keep each piece as long as they want. Employees who opt in will be able to dress sharply for their days at the office, in addition to receiving standard benefits, like health insurance and a gym membership. Designer apparel might be an unexpected job perk, but as the publisher of glamorous fashion magazines (such as Vogue and Vanity Fair) and an early investor in Rent the Runway, the partnership is not altogether surprising.
