Greenwich volunteers get the chance to ride in automated vehicles

GATEway, the £8m research project led by Transport Research Laboratory that is looking into implementing automated vehicles in an urban environment, will run driverless car trials in London this summer. Volunteers are encouraged to participate and can register for the chance to ride in an automated vehicle or take part in a workshop or an interview.

The 2.5 hour long workshops are taking place in Greenwich from June through August, giving members of the public an opportunity to debate how driverless vehicles might impact on our cities as well as getting to participate in creative activities.
