These slim and light goggles bring futuristic back into VR headsets

Chinese company Dlodlo unveiled its own version of a VR headset at CE China, the V One. The wearable, as shown in this Mashable article, looks like close-fitting sunglasses with noticeable extra bulk instead of the ski mask look many other goggles adopt.

Instead of relying on a smartphone screen, the headset has TFT LCD screens that display the content at an impressive 2,560 x 1,024. However, the goggles are just half of the package. The V-One requires the use of a D-Box which is a small computer that provides the power and images to the glasses. Separating the two makes for a light 78 grams that should feel more comfortable on the face. No word yet on how optics on the device work.
