Fast food chain McDonald’s has launched a new virtual reality experience that will enable customers to see how food for its menu is produced. It utilizes the latest in virtual reality technology and 360° video to tell the company’s UK food story.
The British public are invited to “follow in the foodsteps” of the people who grow, source and produce food for McDonald’s. Immersive videos will transport them into a variety of farming scenes.
A farm truck will be touring the UK to give people a behind-the-scenes look at some of the country’s flagship farms, factories and restaurants, without having to physically visit them. You can learn more about the experience in the video below:
