Would you spend $30,000 on a 3D-printed replica of yourself?

Groupon offered one of the oddest Mother’s Day gifts this year: a life-size 3D-printed version of yourself with an unsettling cubist vibe. This odd present costs a hefty $30,000 apiece.

This price includes the up to $2,500 the team behind the project will spend to travel and scan you in 3D. They would also have to establish a blueprint of you for this behemoth print in person before the building starts. According to the Groupon posting, each 3D-printed sculpture would be painted with true-to-life colors.
