Levi's and Google bring seamless connectivity to denim lovers

Levi's is taking its collaboration with Google ATAP to the next level by introducing a commuter denim jacket. The collaboration, which comes under Project Jacquard, works toward establishing a new, scalable system which weaves technology components into standard fabrics and textiles.

Levi's deep involvement with Project Jacquard will culminate with the release of a unique denim jacket in Spring of 2017. Simply put, this jacket is intended to be an extension of your mobile device, giving commuters access to navigation and the ability to take/dismiss calls seamlessly. Beyond this, the garment will literally be enabled for a slew of services supported by apps like Google Maps, Google Play, Spotify, and bicyclist app Strava.
