Lowe's has turned their social platform's tap feature into a tool to improve homes

As part of their Make Your Home Happy campaign, home improvement store Lowe’s and ad agency BBDO created ‘In a Snap,’ a clever series of DIY projects where users play an active role.

The short clips make good use of the tapping gesture for skipping through Snapchat Stories by generating a reaction within the video and turning the story into an interactive lesson. Users get a feel of the real process by tapping on the screen to replace a backsplash, hammer nails and paint a wall, making daunting home improvement projects seem more approachable.
