Paris Recruits Instagram Influencers To Boost Museum Visits
Ten Instagrammers were enlisted to recreate paintings from the city's museums
To promote the new digital platform for the museums of Paris, a number of Instagram influencers were invited to recreate some iconic artworks from the collections.
This project, titled Parallels by Paris Museés, demonstrates the role social media can play in boosting cultural participation. Ten Instagrammers with different styles and backgrounds worked with the city’s municipal museums to reinvent ten different works and give them a new twist.
