Photos Of Vintage Computers Show How They Would Be Marketed Today
Retro fans will appreciate a series of photos highlighting computers from recent history
London based photographer James Ball, aka Docubyte, and production studio INK have created a series of digitally restored photographs of vintage computers to show what they would have looked like new.
The photo series titled ‘Guide to Computing' has a number of key computers from history including the IBM 1401 and Alan Turing's Pilot ACE. Ball started the project by researching where each machine could be found, contacting curators and museums to arrange a shoot. He hopes to expand the series in the coming months and will be releasing a series of prints in future.
