Thanks to partnership with 3M, country's rail system will feature impressionist works

A new partnership between France’s state-owned train service, SNCF, and 3M, an American manufacturing company, has brought an artistic landscape to the interior of French rail cars by covering them in graphics that depict impressionist art from the Musée d’Orsay, as well as the architecture of Versailles and images from Cinéma Gaumont.

The project livens up the commute of workers who are now able to gaze on reproductions of works by Camille Pissarro and Claude Monet from the comfort of their rail car.
