UPS now lets you follow the progress of trucks carrying orders on a live map

Just as you can track the approach of your Uber driver once you order a car on the ride-sharing app, now you can keep taps on the route of your UPS package.

The Atlanta-based package delivery service has launched Follow My Delivery, a minute-by-minute tracking service that for now is only available to customers who use the company's UPS Air and UPS Worldwide Express services for their orders.

With the new feature, consumers will be able to check the location of the UPS driver carrying their package, but they won't be able to access the driver's exact route. The company plans to extend the Follow My Delivery service beyond Air and Worldwide Express in the future, according to The Verge.
