Don’t just play the game, change the game. That’s the slogan for the world’s first $9 computer—or more specifically, its game-making counterpart—the former having taken the Kickstarter community by storm when it raised over $2 million last year. Since its crowdfunding days, CHIP’s creators have been hard at work at putting the item in the hands of its fanbase as of next month, but that hasn’t stopped them from adding new members to the family: PocketCHIP (the aforementioned game-making tool) and the newly minted PICO-8.
