A reverse osmisis system sends you discreet nudges if you are not staying hydrated

The WaterO purifier combines a reverse osmosis system—which purifies drinking water by forcing it through a semi-permeable filter —with “smart” technology that is able to link to a user’s smartphone through an app and remind him or her to stay hydrated.

Each unit measures 1 square foot and can be placed anywhere near an outlet, compared to other filters that need to installed with access to a home’s water supply. The purifier, which has been fully funded through Indiegogo and is priced at $399 a unit, is set to be delivered to customers in June.
