Another startup is planning to turn its name into a verb. Dedrone is developing technology that keeps unmanned flying objects such as drones far away. Their technology involves identification, signal jamming and microphones that detect and defend private space from the flyers. The startup is even helping build a database of drone characteristics so they're easier to identify.

There is no denying drones have a lot of potential and unfortunately, a lot of them aren’t entirely good. They can be used for illegal spying on private property, disturb an event, and even deliver illegal or harmful substances to crowds on demand. Because they’re unmanned and are easy to obtain, they can be an easy tool for criminals to make use of.
