A new app by the technology brand includes a series of mindful exercises

Apple Watch will release a new mindful health app ‘Breathe’ designed to promote deep breaths to get the wearer in a relaxed state. The app uses simple animations and light wrist tapping to instruct breathing patterns, and the exercises are short and displayed regularly during the day.  The watch also detects irregular breathing that occurs when a person might be slouching. The breathing patterns are based on an in-breath/out-breath ratio of one to one and a half, which is the optimal correlation to become relaxed, according to Apple researchers. Other functions include setting a personalized sleep schedule in the app.
