A Dubai restaurant is advertising the freshness of their seafood with an unconventional sign

Barracuda Restaurant has come up with an unusual marketing ploy to let its customers see, first-hand, how fresh their fish really are. They have made an edible fish outdoor poster which seagulls have actively indulged in, proving that they eat only the freshest of catch.

The poster first appeared to be the image of a fish, but it was actually made of edible glue, ink, and paper constructed from real fish, safe for the seagulls to consume. Over time the seagulls feasted on the sign in front of spectators, increasing the restaurant’s table bookings, deliveries and of course causing an “exponential growth in seagull engagement.”
