Olivo Labs developed a fake skin that has applications for eczema and psoriasis treatment, drug delivery, ultraviolet light protection and anti-wrinkles.

The skin consists of two formulations that spread on skin easily, dry quickly, and together, generate an invisible, breathable, elastic film. Different applications can adjust oxygen and moisture permeabilities to provide ideal environments for skin healing. One of the more commercial applications thus far is tightening skin to reduce signs of aging. Olivo Labs is a collaboration between two researchers at Harvard and MIT.
