Farmsquare is a new app developed by Coca-Cola subsidiary Del Valle that aims to connect people looking for healthy food with growers that are looking to place extra stock in a good home.

The project, overseen by Brazilian post-advertising agency CUBOCC, attempts to alleviate poor nutrition and the wasting of surplus, wholesome food through a simple interface. The individual registers, searches for nearby products and requests produce from a donor. Donors could range from organic farms to hobbyists growing spice in an apartment window garden, CUBOCC claims in a release.
