This camera is a bit unconventional: returning a stranger's photo for every one you take

Using machine learning to search and find images that best match the scene a user captures, this gadget is a crossover between a tongue-in-cheek raffle and a funky camera. Creators Salade Tomate Oignon describe Le Myope as being “even more more precise than a blurry polaroid picture… or filter abused Instagram shot,” but that’s clearly well-intentioned in being the whole point of this gizmo.

“Use it in a popular place and chances are that you will get the same picture taken by someone else. (That happened with the mural during one of the tests),” writes the French duo. “Use it in a remote place and get random roughly similar pictures from all over the internet!”
