The brand announced two collaborations that are creating affordable designs for small spaces

IKEA’s mission has always been to offer well-designed and affordable home furnishing for modern living based on the changing needs of people’s lives. As homes get smaller and technology changes the way we interact with space and with each other, the Swedish manufacturer has set out to explore how these changes impact the way we live.

In collaboration with award-winning British designer Tom Dixon and Danish design firm HAY, the brand is producing a series of furniture solutions to improve the ease and comfort of life in a modern home. Set to launch in August 2017, these two collaborations reimagine traditional pieces and challenge the process of producing furniture, while maintaining a classic Scandinavian feel.
