Electronics manufacturer Xiaomi's Mi QiCycle is targeted at solving problems for Chinese commuters in densely populated areas

The electric folding bike is the latest in a series of IoT devices launched by Chinese company Xiaomi. While it wasn’t developed by the company itself, rather by Xiaomi-backed Taiwanese company iRiding, Xiaomi is confident that the Mi QiCycle Electric Folding Bike will find a place in the Chinese market.

It’s no secret that China is plagued with overpopulation, which in turn translates to unsurprising figures that show electric bikes outsell cars.
