JetBlue has unveiled a fully connected in-seat experience

JetBlue Airways has announced a complete redesign of cabins with a greater focus on connectivity. It will be the first overhaul of the interiors on its A320 fleet since launch in 2000.

Highlights include:

Gate-to-gate Fly-Fi (free high-speed internet) New internet-enabled in-flight entertainment system High-definition seatback televisions In-seat power outlets with USB ports

The new in-flight entertainment system runs on an Android platform and improves upon the previous system with features that include a 10.1 in. touchscreen, high-definition resolution, personal device pairing, over 100 DirecTV channels and 300 movies and TV shows on-demand. Passengers will be able to access Wi-Fi even during takeoff and landing.
