A new audiovisual project features a grid of motion-controlled LED pendulums that move like the rhythm of a clock

We often feel like time seems to go by faster than it used to, but at what rate does time really pass? How long is a moment, really? Our Time is the most recent installation by UK collective United Visual Artists (UVA), and explores how we experience the passing of time.

Created as a part of Dark Mofo, an annual arts festival in Hobart, Australia, the audiovisual chamber combines movement, light and sound, and defines a physical environment where light pendulums swing at their own rhythm, seemingly unrestrained by the laws of nature, in which the passing of time becomes almost tangible.
